Staff were great! Whiskey was a nice touch and the beds were amazing!

From beginning to end the staff were fantastic. Such a warm and friendly bunch and we were offered Prosecco or larger on arrival . The Drake boat was absolutely stunning and very comfortable. Everything we needed and much more, including a decanter full of whiskey as complimentary! What a lovely touch. We have already booked the Owl for our honeymoon next year. We can't wait for our next canal boat adventure 🥳

We had an amazing time! The staff were kind, helpful and professional. The boat was meticulously clean, and fitted out with everything we needed, and, well, quite luxurious, actually! Our Beacon Park Boats narrowboat canal trip was the best part of our trip to the UK!

This was our first time on a canal holiday and this first thing to say is that these aren't just any barges, these are the creme de la creme, the Fortnum and Mason, the Ritz of barges. Nothing flashy - although the top of the range cordless Dyson (fully charged obviously) was quite bling - just high quality, perfectly specced interior that made relaxing easy. Egyptian cotton bedding? tick. Nespresso? tick. Neatly filed instruction manual for every single electronic piece of equipment? tick. As amateurs, it's hard to overstate the simple pleasure of knowing that every eventuality had been thought of and catered for aboard. It would be remiss not to mention the welcoming and friendly staff who offered prosecco on arrival and completed an efficient briefing before sending us on our way. Equally helpful when returning the boat at the end of our three night break. Congratulations too all involved in this well run, high quality operation - we look forward to returning.
