Introduction

Our narrowboats are extremely easy to navigate, giving you the satisfaction of leading the way on your relaxing trip down the spectacular Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Of course, we’re always on hand for any assistance you may need during your holiday and we’ll make sure any questions you may have prior to departing will have been answered in our thorough handover.

Self-drive boats
What a wonderful experience. Beacon Park Boats are a very professional organisation. All boats were very well equipped, scrupulously clean and the handover guide and staff help were exceptional. The scenery was probably the finest in the country.

Handling a boat

Even though our narrowboats are really simple to steer, they're also fitted with a bow thruster that moves the boat sideways with the simple press of a button. It makes manoeuvring around bends totally effortless.

Other tasks include filling up the water tank, checking the weed hatch and making sure that the boat's in ship-shape condition. Anyone can get involved and enjoy being part of the whole experience.
