Winter breaks in the Brecon Beacons from £15 per person per night

Wharfinger’s Cottage, our 5-star holiday-let for six people, is unusually quiet for the remainder of this month so we’re offering some last-minute special offers. You, and up to five guests, could be enjoying a winter break from just £15 per person per night! What sort of break do you fancy?

Crisp walks and canalside pubs

It’s perfect for explorers, with excellent walks right from the door. The canal towpath is ideal for young families with buggies while the Blorenge, Skirrid Fawr and Sugarloaf mountains attract the keen walker. Then back for hot chocolate in front of the wood-burner.

Great food and drink

Foodies flock to this area with Shaun Hill’s Michelin-starred restaurant The Walnut Tree, Stephen Terry’s The Hardwick and Matt Tebutt’s The Foxhunter all within 20 minutes drive of the cottage. We’ve equipped Wharfinger’s Cottage for keen cooks so you can easily throw a celebratory party with everything supplied from the food processor, herbs on the windowsill and blowtorch (for the crème brûlée) to the candles and linen napkins!

Bustling markets and Christmas shopping

You can even get your Christmas shopping done while you’re here as Abergavenny, Brecon, Crickhowell, Monmouth boast an exciting range of independent shops, craft centres and art galleries offering many unusual gifts. You’ll find that shopping locally for Christmas gifts can be such a pleasant experience.
