What a year!
The team and I here at Beacon Park Boats wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
I want to thank all of you for your patience and loyalty this year throughout the difficult business of cancelling and transferring bookings.
This picture of all the boats moored up should only be seen during the winter, but this year we saw it in March, April, May, and again in October. We're open at Christmas for the first time ever! Fingers crossed for a more normal 2021 when we can all enjoy more of the boating we love.
We're looking forward to seeing you all on back on the water.
Due to booking transfers and staycations, the 2021 season is filling up. However, if you look hard enough, there are still some bookings available. If you miss out there, now is the time to book for 2022.
I am now back at work full time and enjoying it. I have accepted that I will never drive again but will one day go for a run! To this end, I have decided I would prefer to live at the Wharf to save any commuting. I have applied for planning permission for a small house here (please keep your fingers crossed).
Next year sees a first for Beacon Park Boats and the entire Mon and Brec canal: Falcon, our 8-berth boat. She is nearing completion and only has 5 available weeks remaining availability. We're looking forward to having you onboard and receiving feedback on her.
As always, I welcome all feedback, good or bad. Whether its customer-related, or boat-related, if you have time over this festive period, please drop me an email - I have broad shoulders!
I hope you all have a good Christmas and can enjoy some holiday time with your family. I will be raising a glass (or two) to you all, and for the coming year of boating. Until then.
