Beacon Park Boats in the snow

Peace has settled over Beacon Park Boats with the early January snowfall.  Footsteps are muffled, and the boats are wrapped in frosty cotton wool.  The towpaths are full of walkers taking in the sights of a transformed Brecon Beacons landscape.  The boathouse is almost unrecognisable, particularly when seen from above by our drone.

But the snow has not stopped play when it comes to working at the boathouse.  We are continuing with our extensive schedule of mechanical repairs on the boats, so they are all ready for your holiday this year.  This includes work on Falcon, our first eight-berth boat; we hope to have her on the water in about a month.

We still don’t have an opening date for this season, but we hope for mid to late March.  Don’t forget our boats are completely self-contained holiday accommodation with everything you need onboard, so there is no need to mix with other people if you do not want to.
