Brecon Arts Festival

22-31 October

Workshops and exhibitions at venues throughout the market town of Brecon. Includes an art competition (for all ages), events for children and teenagers, and a tour of the town’s glass workshop.


Brecon Baroque Festival

23-26 October

There’s a Baroque Tea Dance with the chance to learn the dances in an earlier workshop. Also free guided tours of Brecon Cathedral and a guided stroll around the town looking at a thousand years’ history.

Theatr Brycheiniog

Get transported to prehistoric place with the Jurassic Adventures show or try your hand at acting in the Full Mask workshop, suitable for children and their parents.

The Royal Welsh Regimental Museum

Open 26-30 October

Discover the story of the Royal Welsh regiment over the past 300 years. The focal point is the Zulu War Room which recounts the legendary exploits of the regiment during the 1879 Anglo-Zulu War.
