We're over the moon, having just received the results of our annual grading inspection by the British Marine Federation. For the sixth year in a row, all seventeen boats in our fleet have gained a 5 star grading, and for the third year running we've achieved a perfect score of 100% in the grading assessment. Well done to the entire Beacon Park Boats team!
The assessor's report was very complimentary: "Beacon Park Boats moved into their new purpose built hire base last season. It has led to improvements with regard to the turnaround servicing of the hire fleet. It is very difficult to find any fault with either the fit out of the boats or how they are presented which is why they achieve 100% scores. All of the boats were immaculately presented. They were all spotlessly clean and there was no damage to any floor coverings. Externally it is very difficult to date the boats as all paintwork is in good order. The team at Beacon Park Boats takes great pride in their fleet. They try and keep the paintwork in top order touching up any scratches during turn around days when the weather permits. All brass polished on every turn around and engine bays hoovered."
"The whole fleet is bespoke and individual in design and fitted out to an impressive standard. The fixtures and fittings are all top quality. They only use solid woods. The linen and bedding are of very high quality and there are nice added touches to the toiletries such as cotton wool buds and pads. The company has built two new boats for this season, Wren and Kingfisher, and is following a successful formula of using customer’s comments to help influence the design of the new craft. Construction of the next boat for 2018 is starting shortly."
It was the BMF assessor's first chance to view the radically different Wren, and now he's looking forward to what we're planning for next year's new boat. Keep an eye on this blog and we'll unveil our plans in the autumn.
